Consultation and Fees
Ms. Garcia offers an initial consultation. This consultation is valuable to the prospective client because it offers an opportunity to meet Ms. Garcia, relate the specific facts of his/her case in a confidential setting, learn how Georgia law applies to his/her particular case, learn about the judicial process in Georgia courts and consider options for resolution.
A flat fee of $ 200.00 is charged for this initial one hour consultation in cases relating to family law and non-agency adoptions.
No fee is charged for an initial consultation for Wills, Guardianships and Agency Adoptions.
An initial retainer and signed contract of representation is required before representation begins. Retainers may range from $ 1,500.00 to $ 5,000.00 for family law cases and adoptions depending on the complexity of the case. The attorney’s time and expenses are billed against the retainer. Ms. Garcia bills out at a rate of $ 275.00 per hour.
The fee for a Last Will and Testament including supporting documents starts at
a flat fee of $ 900.00 per person.
